What better way to start the college softball postseason than the 2026 SEC Softball Tournament?
The tournament runs from Tuesday, May 5 to Saturday, May 9 at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky, with all 15 teams competing for the conference title.
The top four seeds — No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Florida and No. 4 Texas — earned a two-day bye and will begin play in the quarterfinals on Thursday. Teams seeded Nos. 5-15 will start in earlier rounds beginning Tuesday.

A pair of singles at the bottom of the sixth inning pushed No. 3-seeded Florida to a 10-8 edge over No. 14 Auburn. With one out remaining with the game on the line in the seventh, AnnaLea Adams shot a solo home run to close in the gap, but the Gators secured the 10-9 win.
Florida will play the winner of No. 2 Alabama vs. No. 7 Arkansas in the SEC Semifinals. With the loss, Auburn does not make the NCAA Tournament.
Jocelyn Erickson slammed a two-run homer down right field to tie No. 3-seeded Florida at 8-8 with No. 14 Auburn with no outs at the bottom of the sixth inning.
Auburn is back out in front of Florida after a three-run home run by Tigers first baseman AnnaLea Adams against Florida ace Olivia Miller to lead 8-6 at the top of the sixth inning.
Auburn needs a win to cement a place in the NCAA Tournament.
No. 14-seeded Auburn tied things up with an RBI-single at the top of the fourth inning, but No. 3 Florida responded by scoring off a fielding error to round out the inning up 6-5 over Auburn.
Auburn needs to win this game to reach the NCAA Tournament, and it will have three last innings to do so.
The No. 3-seeded Gators were walked and managed to score two runs off a throwing error and passed ball. The next batter shot an RBI-single down left field to give Florida a 5-4 edge over No. 14 Auburn at the bottom of the third inning with one out.
No. 14-seeded Auburn has given yet another top seed an early fright. A solo home run for the Tigers and No. 3 Florida each got things going in the second inning, but Auburn answered with a double that scored three off a throwing error.

No. 9-seeded Georgia never trailed in its 7-3 win over No. 8 LSU. The Bulldogs will take on No. 1 Oklahoma at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, May 7 on SEC Network.
No. 13-seeded Ole Miss held No. 5 Tennessee scoreless after the second inning to hold on to a 4-1 win, advancing to the quarterfinals of the SEC Softball Tournament.
Ole Miss will next face No. 4 Texas at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 7 on SEC Network.
Four of the first six games in the SEC Tournament have been upsets so far. Wednesday’s slate rounds out with No. 8 LSU vs. No. 9 Georgia at 7 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
A 2-RBI single extended the No. 13-seeded Rebels’ lead to 4-1 over No. 5 Tennessee at the top of the fifth inning.
At the top of the fourth inning, a fielding error drove in an RBI to tie up Ole Miss with the Volunteers, and an added RBI-single pushed the Rebels to a 2-1 lead. Tennessee’s Karlyn Pickens stepped in the circle in relief of Sage Mardjetko to close out the inning.

No. 7-seeded Arkansas just needed a pair of home runs to secure a 3-0 shutout over No. 10 Mississippi State.
The Razorbacks will face No. 2 Alabama at 1 p.m. CT on Thursday, May 7.

No. 14-seeded Auburn held No. 6 Texas A&M scoreless in the seventh to earn an 11-8 win and advance in the SEC Softball Tournament. The last time the Tigers won back-to-back games was in a doubleheader over No. 15 Kentucky on March 7. It was also their first pair of wins in the SEC Tournament since 2019.
Next up for Auburn is a quarterfinal matchup vs. No. 3 Florida at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 7 on SEC Network.
With two runners on, Ava Ratliff shot a three-run homer to swing momentum back in Auburn’s favor as the Tigers lead 11-8 while Texas A&M prepares to face a final three outs.
A 2-RBI single tied Texas A&M up 8-8 with Auburn heading into the seventh inning. A team has not won in the SEC Tournament after trailing by 5 besides Oklahoma in its 8-6 win over Arkansas in 2025.
The Aggies are swinging back into things with a pair of home runs to narrow Auburn’s lead to 8-6 at the bottom of the sixth inning. If Texas A&M secures a comeback win, it would tie for the largest deficit overcome in SEC Softball Tournament history.
Four home runs with the help of a single and a triple have skyrocketed No. 14-seeded Auburn over No. 6 Texas A&M, as the Tigers lead 8-3 at the top of the fifth inning. It’s the most home runs Auburn has scored against an SEC opponent this season and the most scored in a game since hitting six in the Tigers’ 19-5 win over California on Feb. 22.
Every Auburn player through the lineup has reached base. The Tigers need to reach the SEC semifinals to make the NCAA postseason.

After a pair of last-minute wins in Round 1 of the SEC Softball Tournament, No. 13-seeded Ole Miss secured a steady 2-0 shutout over No. 12 South Carolina to round out Tuesday’s slate.
Percy Llamas got the Rebels on the board with a solo home run at the top of the first inning, and Taylor Malvin pushed the lead with an RBI-double in the fifth. Ole Miss will next face No. 5 Tennessee at 4 p.m. CT on Wednesday, April 6, aired on SEC Network.
Rain began to fall at the end of the last-second dramatics in No. 10-seeded Mississippi State’s 4-3 comeback win over No. 15 Kentucky. After the game concluded, a tarp was brought out to cover the turf at John Cropp Stadium in Lexington, Kentucky.
Tuesday’s slate rounds out with Game 3, No. 12 South Carolina vs. No. 13 Ole Miss, now set to see first pitch at 4:25 p.m. CT on Tuesday, May 5.
A pair of home runs from Karissa Hamilton almost gave Kentucky its second SEC win of the season, but Mississippi State didn’t allow it.
Three runs at the bottom of the seventh with the bases loaded gave the Bulldogs the 4-3 win to advance to the second round of the SEC Softball Tournament. Mississippi State will face Arkansas at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 6 on SEC Network.
Trailing by two after five scoreless innings, No. 14-seeded Auburn stormed back with a four-run sixth inning off a throwing error, wild pitch and two-run home run. With a leadoff home run and an RBI-single at the top of the seventh, Auburn clawed back for a 6-2 win over No. 11 Missouri.
Missouri had to beat Auburn to advance in the NCAA postseason. Auburn now needs to reach the SEC semifinals to put itself in that position, and the next step is a Round 2 matchup vs. Texas A&M at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 6.
The SEC Tournament moved up the first round schedule Tuesday, May 5, due to project rain in Lexington, Kentucky. The new schedule, with each game streamed on SEC Network, was moved up two hours for each game.
