On March 6, 2025, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) unveiled the innovative Abu Dhabi Pass at ITB Berlin, a renowned tourism trade fair, in collaboration with Etihad Airways. The new pass promises to revolutionize the tourist experience by transforming it into a seamless digital journey, offering a plethora of exclusive benefits to visitors exploring the emirate.

The Abu Dhabi Pass, free for Etihad passengers and all visitors, provides a comprehensive tourist experience featuring a tourist SIM card with 10GB of data, unlimited travel on public buses, and full-day access to the city’s hop-on-hop-off tourist bus network. This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s ambitious Tourism Strategy 2030 goals, which include drawing 39.3 million visitors, generating 178,000 new jobs, and contributing AED 90 billion to the GDP by 2030.

Holders of the Abu Dhabi Pass can enjoy up to 15% discounts at prominent cultural sites such as Qasr Al Watan and the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and access special rates at popular Yas Island attractions like Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the pass offers savings at more than 200 dining venues across the emirate and on iconic experiences such as desert safaris and guided city tours.
