Worlds of Marvel is just one of three restaurants guest will experience dinner on the all-new Disney Destiny. Worlds of Marvel is themed to Marvel’s Avengers with a sleek interior and screens throughout the restaurant so guests can be part of an interactive show during the course of diner. Depending on the night, there are two show options that take place in Worlds of Marvel. “Avengers: Quantum Encounter” where Ant Man and The Wasp have to save the ship with help of Captain Marvel, Captain America, and Ms. Marvel plus a surprise visit from Spider-Man. Or, “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix” with a fun dance party with Groot, a heart-warming tribute to Rocket, and interactive trivia for guests.
If you have sailed on the Disney Wish or Disney Treasure, you will find the restaurant looks nearly identical along with the menus and dinner shows. Our dinner at Worlds of Marvel during the Disney Destiny preview cruise was the first night menu with the second night show, “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix”.

Bread Service
Marble Loaf – served with red Bell Pepper Dipping Sauce

The red bell pepper dip is surprisingly good with a semi-sweet flavor and a thicker texture more similar to hummus.
Appetizers
Dill and Meyer Lemon-Marinated Shrimp – Minneola, English Cucumber, creme fraiche, dill, chive, and salmon caviar (gluten free)
Steamed Bao Bun – seared ginger orange pork belly, toasted sesame seeds, pickled daikon, spring onions, mirin soy honey glaze
Hearts of Palm with Cilantro and Lime – cucumber, purple onion, bell pepper, sweet potato, spiced yellow pepper, orange, and Infinity Stone popcorn (plant-based and gluten free)
Sautéed Crimini and Oyster Mushrooms – sesame artichoke puree, baby spinach, and Yuzu vinaigrette
Heirloom Tomato Salad – escarole, arugula, purple onion, black beans, blue and red corn ships, parsley, bearss lime (plant-based and gluten free)
Iceberg Wedge – candied pecans, smoked lardons, black and globe radish, served with Maytag blue cheese (gluten free)
“Kartoffelsuppe” – creamed potato soup, carrots, celery, knockwurst, thyme (gluten free)
White Cheddar and Broccolini Soup – topped with toasted corn bread sippers (vegetarian)
The Steamed Bao Bun and White Cheddar and Broccolini Soup are appetizer standouts – both have great flavor. Keep in mind the steamed bao, only comes with one so you might want to order two or a second appetizer. The heirloom tomato salad is a great option if you’re looking for something lighter and fresh, especially if you’re a fan of arugula.

Entrées
Berbere Spiced Pork Chop – Wakandan vegetable pilau, pomegranate, red pepper sauce, rainbow chard, and roasted scallion (gluten free and dairy free)
Chicken Schnitzel – panko-crusted chicken breast, butter sautéed potatoes, caramelized onions, long green beans, lemon, anchovy, and capers
Grilled Tuna Steak – black bean muleta, queso fresco, crisp cassava, roasted corn chipotle sauce (gluten free)
Golden Mystic Pasta – caramelized scallops, angel hair, chardonnay lemon saffron cream, roasted vine tomatoes, malabar spinach
Rosemary Roasted Beef Tenderloin – carved and served with celeriac puree, crisp parsnip, buttered asparagus, roasted shallot, and truffle cabernet jus (gluten free)
Ricotta Gnocchi – fontina cheese, caramelized grape tomato confit, broccoli rabe, and arugula pesto (vegetarian)
Shiitake and Tofu Udon – udon noodles, baby boy chow, tofu, red onions, Kamba, enoki mushrooms, and miso shiitake broth (plant-based)
Lamb Shawarma Salad – slow-roasted cumin-spiced pulled lamb leg, pita bread, iceberg, endive, romaine lettuce, sumac onions, vine tomatoes, pickled red cabbage, roasted chickpeas, cucumber and lemon yogurt dressing
Grilled Grain-Fed Sirloin Steak – served with oven baked potato, asparagus (gluten free and dairy free)
Roasted Breast of Chicken – served with lemon-sumac red quinoa tabbouleh and roasted baby carrots (gluten free and dairy free)
Oven Baked Filet of Salmon – served with steamed jasmine rice and wok chop (gluten free and dairy free)
We’re glad to see the Chicken Schnitzel is more of a traditional, thin cutlet as opposed to just a fried chicken breast like we’ve seen on the Disney Wish. While decent, it’s still not a memorable dish. The Rosemary Beef Tenderloin ended up being the biggest surprise – tender and well-prepared plus we loved the truffle cabernet jus.

Desserts
Cheesecake Byte – garnished with fresh berries, strawberry jelly, raspberry chocolate cream
Subatomic Sticky Date Pudding – topped with balsamic caramel glaze, vanilla ice cream
Quantum Key Lime Pie – made with key lime custard and accompanied by raspberry gel and whipped lime ganache

Pym Doughnut Sundae – dulce de lethe ice cream, pecan blondie, caramel fudge sauce, chocolate glazed donut, and topped with whipped cream
Wakanda Flourless Chocolate Beetroot Cake – chocolate beetroot cake, pepper creme, and milk chocolate soil (no sugar added)
The Subatomic Sticky Date Pudding is by far the best dessert! Disney Cruise Line does sticky date pudding so well and this one is both moist and rich. Accompanied with the sweet caramel glaze and vanilla ice cream, this sticky date pudding is a delicious choice you won’t regret.

Worlds of Marvel feels like it was designed by Tony Stark with clean lines, impressive tech like a Quantum Core at every table, and table settings that all include the Avengers logo. Even if you’re not seated directly in front of a screen, there are large and easily seen from anywhere inside the restaurant.
