AUSTIN, Texas – El Departamento de Policía de Austin (APD) ha realizado otro arresto en relación con el asesinato de March del reportero de Infowars, Jamie White. Ahora dos hombres de 17 años son acusados en relación con la muerte de White, y otros dos sospechosos de menores también supuestamente involucrados.
White fue encontrado acostado en el estacionamiento de los apartamentos de araña en la calle Douglas luego de informes de un tiroteo justo antes de la medianoche del domingo 9 de marzo. Fue llevado a un hospital y declarado muerto la tarde siguiente.
La policía cree que White interrumpió a un grupo de sospechosos mientras intentaban entrar en su alma Kia. APD dijo que durante su investigación, los oficiales encontraron que la ventana del vehículo de White estaba rota y lo que parecía ser sangre de un corte dentro del automóvil de White.
Según APD Det. Jason Jones, el investigador principal del asesinato de White, un automóvil utilizado en el robo, un alma negra de Kia, había sido reportado como robado de Kyle. Posteriormente, ese vehículo fue encontrado abandonado en el sur de Austin el 10 de marzo. Jones también dijo que el video de vigilancia llevó a los investigadores a descubrir que los sospechosos conducían un alma de plata robada cuando llegaron para robar el alma negra de Kia.
Utilizando datos sobre los vehículos robados, así como los escaneos del lector de matrícula y los datos de teléfonos celulares, Jones dijo que los investigadores pudieron identificar a cuatro sospechosos en el asesinato de White, todos los cuales han sido arrestados y acusados de asesinato capital.
Los cuatro sospechosos son Eloy Adrian Camarillo, de 17 años, quien fue arrestado el 30 de abril; un hombre de 15 años arrestado el 5 de mayo; otro hombre de 15 años arrestado el 20 de mayo; y Rodney Charles Hill, de 17 años, quien fue arrestado el 27 de mayo. Todos los sospechosos son de Austin, según Jones.
Jones dijo en este momento que la policía no cree que White fuera atacado.
«Creemos que esta es una serie muy desafortunada y trágica de eventos sin sentido que conducen a [White’s death]involucrando a las cuatro personas que obviamente no tienen valor para la vida humana «, dijo Jones.
Jones agregó que, si bien la investigación sobre el asesinato de White sigue siendo abierta y activa, los investigadores creen que todas las personas responsables están bajo custodia.
También dijo que si alguien cree que su vehículo se está dividiendo, lo primero que debe hacer es llamar al 911 e informarlo, dando buenas descripciones y buenas direcciones de qué manera fueron los sospechosos si huyen de la escena.
